• Garlock Style 5000 is a carbon fiber packing which has been impregnated with a PTFE dispersion and high temp lubrication for break-in. Garlock 5000 works well in applications seeing acids, strong caustics, and slurries and will not contaminate your process.
• This packing has been a standard in the Pulp and Paper industry for 40 years. Style 5000 is popular for use in mixers, agitators, autoclaves, slip-type expansion joints, hydroelectric turbines, pumps and as valve stem packing. You can expect a long service life because of its low abrasion and good chemical resistant qualities.
