Learning Session Description


Misunderstanding and miscommunications are common in the workplace. Any claims of concerns, discontentment or dissatisfaction (whether perceived or real) by an employee or group of employees, with regards to the terms and conditions of their employment with their employers/superiors, or other employees in workplace is a form of GRIEVANCE.

It is a situation when an employee thinks or have feelings of injustice or treated unfairly.

When this arises, immediate solution or settlement must be taken to prevent the disruption of the smooth flow of the business operations, as it affects relationship and productivity.

Grievance in an ORGANIZED ESTABLISHMENT (with Union), are any difference or dispute between the Union, and the Employer with respect to the interpretation, application, violation or compliance with any terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
