Learning Session Description
A typical performance evaluation system requires business units to simultaneously set up their goals and these are monitored against individual KRAs of each ratee. When the appraisal period comes, the discussions focus on whether or not to force distribute the ratings. On post-appraisal season, the real performers are unhappy, those we want to keep are leaving and those who are just coasting along are staying out after getting what they usually get, and those who are referred to as dead trunks are poised to cross just another year. Worse, the company did not meet its goals.
This course is designed for people tasked to have a 2nd look at their performance management system and more importantly for those who strategize to keep the best in the organization and drive performance to meet the goals. This course may influence the design a performance system that is not anchored on monetary rewards but a more lasting capability building.
