SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:


You will be spearheading a team of experienced web developers and designers. You are in charge of minimizing our exposure and risk across multiple projects. You have to determine the scope and mitigating risk across projects. You will have exceptional, demonstrable project management skills. You will be very much hands-on and able to apply your knowledge and skills to both online and offline projects.


Required Skills:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field OR possess equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Must have a minimum of 6 years experience with Web Content Management Systems - Open Source and/or Microsoft/.net focused (includes wordpress, magento, joomla)
Creative, Visual thinker. Up to date on the latest technologies for web and mobile development.
Management of projects during research and ****ysis phase, successfully determining customer needs and desires and translating those into project specifications; development of project requirements and management of delivery.
Solid project management skills - experienced web project leader.
Strong motivation toward continual self-improvement, research and innovation.
Personable and diplomatic team player with the ability to manage, motivate and work well in a team environment.
Entrepreneurial spirit. Self motivated with the ability to lead remote teams.
A passion for creating websites and shaping the Internet.
Very good oral and written communication skills.
Experience with:
Project management techniques and tools.
Resource management.
Project management software.
Running on-site and remote consulting meetings with clients. (Periodic Travel to meet/train clients is required)
Client and server side programming is a plus.

Job Duties:
Manage multiple website projects at one time including planning and implementation, developing and writing proposals. Create website information architecture and user interface.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Implements Web solution by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team members' concerns; coordinating requirements with interested departments.
Assures quality Web solution by developing and completing test plans; maintaining project and technical documentation. Website Quality Assurance.
Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees; following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements.
Meets cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.
Develop, track and maintain project schedules. Communicate and consult with clients throughout the implementation process. Train clients to use our award winning Content Management System.
Updates job knowledge by tracking technology and project management advances; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
