A honing guide will help you consistently sharpen to the same result and it will protect your stone from unintentional nicks. This simple guide securely holds chisels and plane blades at the correct angle to bench stone and ensures a true square edge.
The Honing Guide can be adjusted for 25° and 30° angles that are conveniently located on the Aluminum body. The roller is made with hardened steel that will last for years and never get a flat spot. The chisel Sharpener body is crafted with strong durable cast aluminum.
The Honing Guide has 3 sections for clamping. It has an upper jaw for plane irons that adjust from 1-3/8” to 3-1/8”, A lower jaw for low angle chisels that adjust from 1/8” to 1-7/8” and under the Lower jaws flat stop clamp mortise and high angle chisels that adjust up to 1-7/8”.
