Annual blooming plant... bonsai... pots or ground... outdoor/full sunlight... grows in any kind of soil as long as it is not waterlogged... tolerates drought... easy to grow... could be started both indoors and outdoors... works best if started in the ground... to start indoors, use the paper towel method... soak the seeds overnight and clip the pointed part to aid in germination (make sure not to touch the seed inside the shell)... place it in a damp paper towel, not soaked or dripping and place the seeds on 1/2 of the paper towel, then fold it over to cover them. Put the damp paper towel in a plastic bag. Check on them to see if the seeds have germinated. To start on ground or pots, plant them in rows 6inches apart in a shallow trench between 1-2inches deep. In sandy soil, 2inches deep is better. Cover and keep watering until it sprouts.
