URGENT HIRING

Senior Mechanic provides technical and functional supervision over assigned mechanical maintenance personnel. Performs minor to major repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities;

a.) Coordinate and provide daily work assignments to mechanical maintenance personnel; review work and control quality of work; in the absence of the supervisor.

b.) Perform the full range and most complex duties of the Fleet Mechanic category; response to emergency calls for service after hours.
c.) Assist in implementation of garage policies and procedures.
d.) Inspect service vehicle, dump trucks, and related heavy equipment to locate and determine the coverage of necessary overhaul or repair.
e.) Perform general overhaul and repair work.
f.) Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems.
g.) Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on all equipment and service vehicles, including lubrication and oil changes.
h.) Operate vehicles and equipment to aid in diagnostics.
i.) Perform a variety of duties in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, equipment and components.
J.) Perform related duties as required.
