EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SPECIALIZATION COURSE

Dreaming of becoming a Teacher? Aiming to open your own toddler day care center? Are you a parent who is planning to home school your kids? Then this is the right course for you! Enroll in our fast tracked Early Childhood Specialization Course! You have the option to earn as much as a total of 27 ECE units or attend our modules according to your needs instead.

This Certificate Program is designed for participants who are seeking a basic understanding of a Child’s Development which includes different theories and principles. This program is comprised of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) in teaching, curriculum development, teachers’ roles, lesson planning and assessment of students’ learning. The goal of this Certificate Program is to provide aspiring Early Childhood Educators knowledge in handling and teaching children that are 2 to 6 years old. It also aims to give participants the essentials of putting up a day care center including the management of such child development centers (CDC) and securing permits from the government.

The program includes the following modules:
? Knowing your Preschoolers
? Basic Child Psychology
? Curriculum Development for Early Learners
? Play Based Learning
? How to put up a Daycare / Pre-school

Participants will receive manuals, handouts and will have to undergo OJT, attend an outreach program, and their own graduation ceremony. Submission of projects and school plan is also required. Once course is completed, certificate and TOR will be received.
