ADULT ESL FOR LIFE SKILLS AND CORPORATE ENGLISH

SimplyEnglish provides English language instruction for limited English proficient adults. This program is designed to help adult students increase their ability to communicate effectively in life and workplace applications.
SimplyEnglish Adult ESL teaches functional English. We do not focus on teaching grammar rules. Although grammar is integrated, it is not the most important component of our Adult ESL classes. Sometimes there is no grammar formation. What is important is we help our students speak first before error-correction takes place.
Adult ESL is for students who are not yet equipped to handle the academic level of difficulty of standardized tests. This program is free of charge to students who purchased the IELTS or PTE Academic Pearson Extensive Package.
Adult ESL is for students who know basic English and want to take this limited proficiency to a much higher level. This program is beneficial for those who need to improve their communication skills inside and outside the workplace.
Adult ESL is for students who are sent by companies to work on their English communication. We help our students handle conversations with relatives, peers, colleagues, customers, and supervisors.
What we solve
Adult ESL is needed by students who are prone to code-switching. Code switching is when a student struggles to carry a conversation in English. The student attempts to speak English but falls back to his/her first language.
Adult ESL is needed by students who have pronunciation difficulties. Many adult learners have developed a noticeable first-language accent, and SimplyEnglish helps adult learners acquire a neutralized accent.
Adult ESL is needed by students who needs to strengthen their English in the communicative level. This is not for Basic English Level students. Adult ESL learners have already acquired the English language, but their skills are limited. Adult ESL fossilizes this English proficiency in the communicative level; it does not introduce Basic English to students.
