Fire Retardant Paint
GENERIC CLASS: Single Component polymer resin with fire retardant properties.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: COATGUARD 950 FR is a fast drying mono packed coating that retard rate of fire on applied surfaces. It exhibits resistance to flame spread on wood, concrete and metal. It is resistant and unaffected by ultra violet rays even on prolong period of exposure. Retards rate of fire for one and a half (1%) hours for solid wood, 2.8 hours on columns, 2 hours on beams and 1.5 hours on furlins.
TYPICAL USES: As fire retardant coatings applicable to woods, metals and concrete where retarding of fire is required. Minimum of three to four (3-4) coats is required.
LIMITATIONS: Not recommended for immersion service on acids or solvent exposure.
