• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Is a driven and motivating leader who has experience inspiring guest service; displays strong hands-on operational skills; thrives in customer interactions.
• Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands.
• Understands and interprets hotel financial reports; generates, and analyzes budgets and labor reports.
• Has a passion for hospitality, demonstrated by a progressive hotel career.
• Has a minimum of five years experience as a Senior Manager in a hotel with a minimum of two to three years as a General Manager
• Is technologically savvy, with a strong understanding of Social Media
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage, Human Resources Housekeeping, Sales and Finance departments.
• Develop the overall hotel strategy to maximize guest satisfaction, colleague satisfaction and financial performance.
• Promote efficient operating procedures to provide a flawless guest experience; actively engage with guests from arrival to departure.
• Maintain a high level of service in all areas to our internal and external guests.
• Resolve problems and communicate to ensure consistency and memorable guest service.
• Promote a positive work environment; select and train new employees; continuously provide recognition, mentoring and coaching to existing colleagues.
• Monitor departmental scheduling and modify as necessary.
• Manage hotel budget to control expenses and increase revenue.
