Using a chemical peel on your body is similar to using the peel on your face with a couple of differences. Please follow the directions provided for best results. Note to darker skin tones: Use extreme caution in peeling the body. Hyperpigmentation is a much more common occurrence in darker skin tones when peeling the body. There is more melanin and it responds to the peel by over producing more melanin and can be difficult to treat and correct if it does happen.

The skin will take on a leathery, dry, aged look about a week post peel.Areas of sun damage may get darker. It will then take another 2-3 weeks to begin to flake off. It will not peel off in sheets, just very small flakes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Prepare your skin.
a. Cleanse. Use water and a soap-free cleanser to avoid drying out the skin prior to your peel. Finish with an application of a mild astringent.

b. Do a patch test. Its always a good idea to test your skin to check for a reaction from any new products that you are going to use on your skin. A patch test tells you how your skin will respond to the peel. Apply a small amount of the new product to clean skin on the inside of your elbow. Cover with a bandage and leave for 24 hours. If a rash or redness appears, do not use this product or you need a lower concentration of active ingredients in the solution . If any of our products get into your eyes, flush with water immediately.

2. Apply for 2-3 consecutive nights before bedtime, pour the lotion unto skin generously & massage thoroughly until its totally absorbed by the skin. Make it thicker to achieve large peeling. Repeat 3 times applications with 10-15 minutes interval. But for thin layers of skin, it does not need to have thicker or more applications. Let it dry, no need to rinse. Use hydrocortizone cream

(Recommended by Dermatologist to use at night time only. Apply on skin area evenly and let it dry. Use your fingertips better. Not recommended to apply the Peeling Lotion at day time because of the suns damaging effect.)

3. Peeling will begin in 2 -4 days and will last for about 5 to 7 days (peeling may vary depending on the users skin moisture content). Please do not scrub or pick at the skin, it will come off when it is ready. Forcing the skin to peel before it is ready can cause scaring and pigment issues, so please treat the skin gently. Until it peels, your skin will look old and wrinkled. It will not stay that way, it is just the skin waiting to come off. Never wash frequently to hasten peeling. Think of the dead skin as a protective bandage of the fresh peeling skin. The longer it stays, the better the result. Do not rub or scrub the skin during the peeling process. To prevent redness or itchiness, apply HYDROCORTISONE CREAM/LOTION/ PETROLEUM JELLY
On the 2nd day after applying the solution, its normal to feel itchy, at first for a few weeks, as the skin is fresh and new. Just apply HYDROCORTISONE / CREAM/LOTION/ PETROLEUM JELLY every time the skin is itchy. During the day use sunblock only to lessen the suns effect.

Keep the area moisturized with a good quality moisturizer either soap, lotion or cream,
Petroleum jelly is a moisturizer that is good in relieveing dryness and itchiness.
While Hydrocortizone cream is a topical corticosteroid. It works by reducing skin inflammation (redness, swelling, itching, and irritation).

PRECAUTIONS:
1. Burned skin, rashes and other skin inflammation may occur. Users normally experienced these on the third day. That is why it is very important to do a patch test first before applying to larger parts of your skin so you will know if the solution has active ingredients that your body cannot tolerate. Consult a dermatologist if symptoms persists.

-- Burned skin is caused by over use, can be prevented by applying a desired amount for your skin type, the solution maybe high for your skin and should lessen the application. There are skin parts that should have lesser application like underarms, thigh area etc.

-- Dryness occurs if you use too much solution and if you are not using enough skin moisturizer because in peeling it will really make your skin dry that is why you should use an skin moisturizer before, during and after peeling. .

-- Itchyness- normal happens, but on all skin types happens. If itchiness happens apply hydrocortizone cream or petroleum jelly.

-- Rashes - are usually accompanied by dryness.
