Body lift kits only lift the body off the frame of a car and therefore offer no performance advantage other than tire clearance.
Body lifts kits lead to the following problems:
Ugly exposure of trailer hitches, ugly gaps between trucks frame and cab/bed, need to extend/adjust fuel filler hoses, steering column, engine cooling fan air guiding parts, etc.

** IMPORTANT NOTE: The lift / coil spacer thickness ratio is not 1:1. This means that the lift achieved lift height is much greater than the actual thickness of the coil spacers. The reason for this is that the lower control arm compounds the amount of lift due to its angle and length. Front 2" represents ift amount, NOT the spacer thickness. This lift kit is designed to give you an overall lift of up to approximately 2 inches (50mm) front / 4.5 inches 115mm back). This is the recommended maximum which you can lift your vehicle without affecting your vehicles driving characteristics in a negative way. Shackle lifts are typically measured in halves. Meaning a 9" taller shackle produces 4.5" of actual lift. This is because only one end of the spring is being lifted. Shackles do change steering caster and drive-line angles, which is why moderation is recommended on this lift Installation should only be performed by trained professional

Second generation (2012–2016)
The 2012 Isuzu Dmax shares its ladder chassis platform, body construction, mechanical componentry and interior design (dash, centre stack, steering wheel and doors) with the 2013 North American Chevrolet Colorado. From A-pillar on back Isuzu Dmax appears to be a clone of Chevy Colorado but gets its own visual identity due to an aggressive angular front fascia with upswept headlights and a more conventional grille design.
