This lens is a copy of the famous Zeiss Sonnar 50/1.5. It was initially made for the Kiev line in Contax/Kiev bayonet mount and later - in Leica thread mount.

Lens(s/n 6307875) is in good condition.

Lens barrel has few signs of use/age.

Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze.
Front element has multiple micro scratches from wiping / some internal dust particles but these should not affect image quality.

Aperture blades move well.

Tested on Sony A7 camera - adapter works smoothly, without play.
Allows for focus much closer then the lens minimal focusing distance(which is great!), but also a little past the infinity - not an issue on modern E-mount Sony cameras where one focuses optically via live view.



Lens comes with both front & rear metal caps, plastic cylinder case.

Adapter comes with rear cap.
