Product Description:
JELLE’ Cake Improver is specially formulated for use in cakes such as sponge cakes, Swiss rolls, sponge fingers, pound cakes, fruit cakes, layer cakes and other similar products.
Jelle’ cake improver is produced in jelly form. The emulsifiers used are partial esters of polyglycerol/glycerol, edible fatty acids and potassium stearate in glycerol.
Functions:
a.) Improvement of cake quality: Imparts increase volume and a fine texture to finished cake. The strong effect on the cake batter will give a strong moist and tender cake with good eating quality
b.) Increase yield and lower recipe cost: Jelle’ cake improver makes it possible to replace part of the eggs and part of the fat or oil in the traditional recipe.
Method of Application :
Normally a dosage of 4 % Jelle’ Cake Improver (calculated on flour weight) is recommended.
* Exact dosage depends on the recipe used.
Storage: Keep in cool, dry place.
Packing: 1 pail x 18 kg; 1 canister x 3kg
Shelf-Life: Jelle-R – 6 months; Jelle-M – 8 months
