DAILY-C (sodium ascorbate) is specially buffered, non-acidic and stomach-friendly vitamin C. It can be taken in large amount without causing upset or irritation to the stomach.

Daily-C taken orally on a daily basis helps strengthen the body’s resistance to colds, flu, and upper respiratory tract infections by strengthening the immune system. It is required by the body in the synthesis of collagen, carnitine, and the neurotransmitters norepinephrine and serotonin. It is a water-soluble antioxidant that neutralizes and scavenges free radicals. It is also necessary for tissue repair. It protects low density lipoproteins from oxidation, reduces harmful oxidants in the stomach and promotes iron absorption. In the body, Daily-C plays an important role in its response to stress factors.

Daily-C when given orally is well absorbed thru the gastrointestinal tract and excreted primarily in the urine.
