AquaVermiPonics is a combination of Aquaculture and Agriculture (called Aquaponics plus Vermiculture to create a natural cycle of growing plants (vegetables, culinary herbs such as: basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley, etc.) and at the same time, raising food fish such as: tilapia, pangasius, shrimps, crayfish and even indigenous species such as: biya (freshwater goby), ayungin (silver perch), ulang (freshwater prawns), yap-yap (small lake/river shrimps), pauto (local small mud fish), hito (local catfish) and talangka (crabs). Aquarium fish grow well too such as: koi, goldfish, barbs. We added Vermiculture to provide more nutrients to the plants. This system is almost 100% made of recycled materials (used IBC tank or drums, water bottles, gravel or pebbles from rivers or lakes). No chemical fertilizers will be used. Deos AVP IS SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN BACKYARDS.
